“ Love this place. I usually get the hibachi shrimp and my husband gets sashimi. The salad with ginger dressing is delicious. And both soups, onion and miso, are really good. Always hard to choose. Service has always been prompt for us but we do try to go at non-peak times. ”

“ While visiting Benton, I was recommended to try samurai. While I pulled up to the location previously occupied by a discount pharmacy I was a little skeptical of what the experience would be like. However, the interior although dimly lit (probably for ambient reasons) was very nicely modeled. I was happy to see the bar area, sushi bar area, dining room and private dining rooms off to the side. We arrived around 545 and there was only one other table occupied so I still felt a little skeptical. However, taking a look at the menu I had a very good impression due to the selection of sushi rolls, sushi and hibachi dishes. I dined with another adult and three elementary aged children. The portions were plentiful and everything with the service was seamless, from the drink orders to the timing for the soups, salad, sushi and entrées. To finish up, the sliced orange was also a refreshing and light finish. Note this isn't a true hibachi experience but most of the entrées are called hibachi. While the fried rice, steamed rice and meat/vegetable dishes were delicious, when I think of hibachi, I think of the chef cooking at the table. ”

“ We found this place as a stop on the way to Little Rock from hot springs and really enjoyed our dinner! We did not sit hibachi, but ordered that style meal and sushi. The chicken and steak teppanyaki was perfectly cooked, loved the fried rice. The sushi roll we ordered, the Vegas roll, was excellent! Loved the eel sauce with it. I also had the white tuna sashimi, great portions with 5 pieces! The only downfall was the decor, a little too stark, but the food was perfection ”

“ My wife and I have always loved Samurai in Little Rock; but the new location in Benton seems even better! I have a really discerning palate with regard to top shelf Asian food. Samurai exceeded our expectations in every way possible. The SAMURAI ROLL was rich, buttery, and just amazing. The Crunchy Shrimp was a delicious pairing of both salty and sweet. The Sushi Chef painted an impressive and artful scene on our serving dish. He even came over to say hello and check on us, WOW. My wifes Hibachi VEGETABLE FEAST was perfectly cooked and the veggies were fresh and tender. We no longer need to shuffle to Little Rock for the best sushi around! Finally... the service was impeccable and best ever! ”

“ Dimly lit sushi bar with cute porcelain dolls inset into the wall. Beautiful bar with overhead television. Friendly staff. You can tell it's new. The servers didn't know the menu very well but managed to get everything correct. I got the American Combo at dinner time. It was $15.00. It included a salad, soup, California roll, crunchy shrimp tempura roll, and spicy crab roll. I was pleasantly surprised in the taste. This could be a favorite of mine. The wife got fried rice, cream cheese wontons, and a California roll. She also enjoyed hers. I'll have to come back and try the hibachi next time. Nice place. ”
